Kick-Off Exam
Visit
One
and a half hour exam by Naturopathic Doctor and Certified
Naturopathic Health Practitioner Frances A. Carns includes:
A full health assessment, pH
level testing (first morning urine, doesnt need
to be a clean catch), blood
pressure screening and initial Bioelectric
Impedance Analysis (BIA)
Self-Hypnosis instruction, including a personalized hypnosis tape
to take home with you
Practitioner will go over test results with you, determine your
health goals, and
establish
your course of lifestyle therapy
Instructions
and advice about nutritional foods will be discussed, and a
dietary
plan that supports your goals
will be given to take home with you
Weeks 1-5
You
will meet with one of Dr. Fran Carns practitioners, Corinne
Harmon, once a week for the next 5 weeks for one hour and will
cover:
Identifying any needed program adjustments
Hypnosis and some Self-Hypnosis Techniques
Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques
Week 6
Follow-up exam with Dr. Carns to
evaluate your program completion including:
Over all health
evaluation
Final Bioelectric
Impedance Analysis (BIA)
Re-testing of ph
levels (first morning
urine, doesnt need to be clean catch)
Blood pressure check
Weeks 8-10
You will continue to meet with
Corinne Harmon for one hour bi-weekly at this point in the
program for:
Reinforcement of your
program and further discuss dietary needs
Self-Hypnosis
techniques
Positive guidance and
reinforcement
Week 12
Final program consultation and exam with Dr. Carns
If your goals have
been achieved, a maintenance program may be
prescribed to ensure that your health improvements are maintained
You may also choose to
continue your program if all of your goals have not
yet
been achieved.
Final exam will include re-testing of BIA, pH testing, and blood
pressure
check
