Rather than
focusing on illness or specific parts of the body, holistic healing is an
ancient approach to health which considers the whole person and how he or she
interacts with his or her environment. It emphasizes the connection of mind,
body, and spirit. The goal is to achieve maximum well-being, where everything is
functioning the very best that is possible.
With Holistic Healing people accept responsibility for their own level of
well-being, and everyday choices are used to take charge of one's own health.
A
holistic approach to healing includes many factors including dealing with the
root cause of an illness, encouraging patient involvement, and considering both
conventional (allopathic) and complementary (alternative) therapies.
The links below provide you with more information to help you
better understand some of the holistic and allopathic (conventional) services provided by our associate
practitioners for our clients to compliment the Naturopathic Health and Hypnosis
Therapy provided by Frances A. Carns. Clients and site visitors are encouraged
to continue consulting with their medical professionals when receiving holistic
treatments. They are meant to compliment, not replace, conventional medicine and
therapies.
